Product aspect
1.The FT-9 adopts a high rigidity, high loading rubber compound, which enhances the overall strength of tires and comes with excellent grips and performance handling, even in road surfaces of dangerous terrains. Furthermore, an environmentally protective oil formula has been applied that passes the latest EU norms, thus reducing environmental pollution.
2.Before the product officially launched, the FT-9 has carried out real vehicle tests, as well as comparisons with well-known brands, for 3 different road conditions, hilly terrain, a muddy road and the beach.
3.The unique "Hook" shape of the central pattern blocks is able to increase the gripping force by 10% so that the tire is much better at gripping rugged and rough road surfaces and able to handle various dangerous terrains.
4.The FT-9 adopts a 2-pc cap tread compound design, which increases the tread pattern blocks in demanding driving performance, strengthening the hardness and tread side abrasiveness. The FT-9 has also implemented a new 3-pc sidewall compound design, which not only reduces 4% of material costs and 8% of labor costs, but also increases the efficiency of the extrusion and molding processes, thus not only achieving the goal of artificially light workers to make tires lighter, but also enhancing high speed performance by 15% and durability by 25%,
Marketing aspect
1.The FT-9 is the first SUPER OFF ROAD product introduced by NANKANG Tire; therefore, the product image built is based on "BORN TO CONQUER" as the product positions to appeal, with a large pattern and deeply grooved bead design, enhancing the FT-9’s grip and handling on rugged roads.
2.In order to strengthen the NANKANG brand in the transformation of both evolution and innovation, a rebuilding task for the brand’s image has been undertaken since 2010 by employing Ogilvy & Mather Advertising as the marketing consultant; expected in Q4 2011, a brand new CIS image of NANKANG Tire shall be revealed to consumers.
