1.Regarding the safe handling of the vehicle, the pattern of the SX-2 Profile designing parameter is based on its safety coefficient with CAE, which disperses the tire loading and allows the tread pattern to have even contact with the ground. This decreases the strain of the beater to avoid its centralization, increases the stability of the tire in handling, increases the contact area of tread vs. ground that enhances the grip by more than 3% and transmits the engine output power without loss.
2.SX-2 pattern is an asymmetrical, non-directional design which is divided into an internal pattern, an external pattern and a central 3 parts rib, where the central rib is helpful regarding the stability of tire operation. Both the internal pattern block and the central rib have been siped which behaves as a buffer in absorbing the impact from the ground when the tire is running, and increases comfort. The external pattern block is in Non Karf design which keeps the pattern blocks rigid in resistance of tire vs. ground in turning, and maintains the handling of vehicle.
3.SX-2 was designed based on the max. water draining efficiency in concept by arranging 4 wide straight grooves on the pattern as well as an increase in the area of the grooves so that max. Water can be drained by up to 10%, which prevents the vehicle from aquaplaning on flooded ground and increases the safety of the vehicle when driving on wet ground.
4.SX-2 pattern adopts the 5-pitch in design by CAE simulating the calculation of their alignment, which minimizes the noise generated when the tire is running.
