Bilbao, Spain - 2 March 2026.– Taiwan Excellence has successfully concluded its debut in Spain at “Bienal Internacional de Máquina-Herramienta”, held from 2 to 6 March at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. The participation brought together ten leading Taiwanese brands, which showcased advanced machining, forming and industrial automation solutions to industry professionals.

This first appearance at Spain’s leading machine-tool trade fair marks a strategic step in strengthening industrial ties between Taiwan and the European market.

Bounce Taiwan Machinery

Under the theme “Bounce Taiwan Machinery,” the pavilion underscores the resilience and adaptability of Taiwan’s smart machinery industry amid digital transformation and shifting global supply chains. Organized into Cutting, Forming, and Automation zones, it showcases the full spectrum of Taiwan’s metalworking capabilities — from core machining and advanced forming to intelligent automation — highlighting its strong system integration and comprehensive solution expertise.

In the cutting zone, companies such as Honor Seiki, You Ji, Quaser, Campro and Mecom showcased high-precision machining solutions, multi-axis centres and eco-friendly fluids aimed at enhancing performance and sustainability.

In the forming zone, Chin Fong, SEYI, Jainnher and Kanfon presented stamping, grinding and laser cutting technologies designed for efficient and energy-optimised production.

The industrial automation zone featured Techman Robot, which stood out with its collaborative robot incorporating integrated machine vision, designed to boost productivity and meet the growing demand for flexible automation.

Press Conference

The first day began with Taiwan Excellence’s press conference, where ten companies showcased their latest metal processing solutions with advanced automation and eco-friendly technologies for aerospace, automotive, and energy production lines. Among them, Honor Seiki, Chin Fong, and Mecom Industries highlighted key applications in aerospace machining, automated stamping, and sustainable metalworking, giving live demonstrations that showcased efficiency, precision, and sustainability.

Mr Francisco Chang, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, opened the launch event with a speech in which he stated that “Our presence here today has a clear purpose: to showcase the best of Taiwan’s metal industry, our tireless spirit of innovation, and world-class manufacturing capabilities,”. He also reiterated that Taiwan Excellence is the Taiwanese government’s flagship program for identifying the country’s most innovative products each year through the prestigious Taiwan Excellence Awards: “We are proud to present solutions built on world-class precision, high reliability, and a robust industrial ecosystem,” he stated.

The pavilion, open until March 6, has attracted numerous professional visitors and generated multiple networking opportunities. Specialized media and international buyers have experienced firsthand the latest innovations from Taiwan’s smart machinery industry, reinforcing Taiwan’s role as a strategic partner in advanced manufacturing.
