More than 10,000 visitors, 106 Taiwanese companies, and dozens of discussions on business cooperation - this is how the first Polish edition of Taiwan Expo 2026 in Europe concluded. The event took place from June 22 to 24 at EXPO XXI in Warsaw.
One of the most popular areas was the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, which showcased 50 products from 22 Taiwanese companies. The exhibits included solutions for healthcare, sports, consumer electronics, smart buildings, industry, automation, and drone applications.
All the products on display had previously received the Taiwan Excellence Award, which recognizes solutions distinguished by their quality, innovation, design, and market potential.
Yushan, Cosplay, and Technology
The pavilion's design was inspired by Yushan, Taiwan's highest mountain. Instead of relying solely on conventional product presentations, the organizers also introduced elements of fantasy, cosplay, and interactive storytelling.
Visitors explored the technologies through a guided narrative and live demonstrations. It was the first experience of its kind created by Taiwan Excellence in Europe.
The unusual format attracted attention, but the products themselves and direct conversations with their manufacturers remained the main focus. Visitors were particularly interested in implementation opportunities, distribution partnerships, and the potential use of Taiwanese technologies in European markets.
Polish Companies Looked for Practical Solutions
The event included a series of B2B meetings between Taiwanese exhibitors and European companies. Products that attracted particular interest included Sauberair's air purification systems, Litemax's smart displays, Chungsun Electronics' electricity meters, and drone solutions developed by AiSeed Technology.
The discussions involved representatives of companies such as Fixing SA, an ICT systems integrator, and KALIBRA SK, a supplier of measurement equipment for the medical sector.
The conversations focused not only on the sale of ready-made products, but also on adapting them to the needs of European customers, technological cooperation, and potential business partnerships.
A New Edition of “Go Healthy with Taiwan” Is Launched
On June 23, the “Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026” program was officially launched in Warsaw under the theme “Designing Healthier Futures Together.”
The initiative is open to companies, institutions, universities, and project teams with ideas for using Taiwanese technologies in the fields of health, sports, and quality of life.
The first edition, held in 2025, attracted 638 proposals from 55 countries. This year, the organizers expect more than 800 submissions. The three winning teams will each receive US$30,000, as well as professional advisory support and opportunities to establish cooperation with Taiwanese companies.
The program attracted strong interest from Polish businesses, public institutions, and academic communities. Many discussions focused on participation rules, potential partnerships, and ways to combine Polish ideas with technologies developed in Taiwan.
The launch was accompanied by a performance by the Polish acrobatic duo Marysia & Julian, whose show combined themes of health, sport, and balance.
Business, Technology, and Culture
Taiwan Expo 2026 was not limited to product presentations. The program also included business meetings, discussions with public institutions, and activities introducing visitors to contemporary Taiwanese culture and design.
The opening ceremony was attended by, among others, Cynthia Kiang, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, Valère Moutarlier from the European Commission, and Michał Jaros, Secretary of State at Poland's Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
The presence of government representatives provided an important backdrop to the event, but its real value came from direct meetings between companies and the opportunity to see the technologies in practice.
The first Polish edition of Taiwan Expo showed that interest in Taiwanese solutions extends far beyond consumer electronics. Polish companies and institutions are also looking for technologies for healthcare, industry, energy, smart cities, and automation.
Taiwan Expo 2026 in Europe took place from June 22 to 24, 2026, at EXPO XXI in Warsaw. The event brought together 106 Taiwanese companies and attracted a total of 10,347 visitors.
