Ho Chi Minh City, 26/07/2018 – Taiwan International Trade Fair – Taiwan Expo 2018 has officially opened this morning by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), bringing 35 brands honored by the “Taiwan Excellence Award”. The event will last until 28 July, at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).

Within Taiwan Expo 2018’s framework, Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone this year provides several cutting-edge technologies spanning across various categories, including information and communication technology (ICT), home appliances, healthcareequipment, andtransportation, aiming to encourage a smarter and more comfortable life to every Vietnamese consumer. 

Coming to Taiwan Excellence Experience Zone(Booth 401, Hall A2, SECC), visitors will have the opportunity to directly experience smart products from Taiwan and interact with representatives of famous brands such as FECA, Tokuyo, Johnson, Transcend.

Mr. Walter M. S. Yeh, President and Managing Director of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) said: “In 9 years of operation in Vietnam, we are very impressed with people here, you are enthusiastic, hardworking, friendly and open. We have found cultural traits that are very close to the Taiwanese right here. Taiwanese products in general and Taiwan Excellence in particular have gained Vietnamese consumers’ trust and positive responses in every field. This is reflected in the increasing number of Taiwanese businesses that have been focusing on the Vietnamese market to make their own mark."

Beside Taiwan Excellence Experiencing Zone, another highlight within Taiwan Expo 2018’s framework is the seminar “Taiwan Tech – Smart Life”. The main focuses of the seminar are the latest technology trends and practical applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and the cloud platform.

•       Advantech,the top 10 best international brands in Taiwan in 2017, presented their initiatives in the "Successful IoT Landing for the Next IoT Phase with Advantech"as well as an introduction to its IoT Summit in Suzhou, China in November 2018.

•       For the first time in Taiwan Expo, GEOSAT Aerospace & Technology Co., Ltd.introduced the unmanned aerial vehicle segment with the ability to support topographical surveys in the"Drone-based Smart Remote Sensing for Smart Agriculture", aiming for a market share of $100,000 million by 2020.

•       Owning 10 branches in 12 countries around the world, AMobile Intelligent Groupprovides IoT solutions in a wide range of fields such as transportation, retail, industrial, logistics, etc. for example, Mobile G60, with the presentation "New Application of IoT: Mobile – Inspection Assistant".

•       With the vision of becoming the most reliable lighting solution provider in the world, XTGLintroduces "Smart Street Light: Illuminating the City", bringing a range of lighting solutions to the city including smart street lights, tunnel lights, explosion-proof lights, outdoor emergency lights, etc.

•       Serving more than 3,500 world-renowned brands such as Ford, Canon, Lotte Chemical, etc., CoreTechowns international patents on plastic simulation solutions, highlighted in "Simulate Your Way to Rapid Innovation".

•       On the theme "Shifting Conventional Industries: The Era of New Cloud Projector"Everest Displaydiscusses comprehensive and interactive products for educational environments such as smart cloud projectors.

Taiwan is now Vietnam's fourth largest investor with a total investment of $ 31 billion. The rapid development of Viet Nam’s market is also an advantage, driving more foreign investment, especially from Taiwan.[1]

At Taiwan Expo 2018  

-       Advantech

Solar power, electricity and factory related applications always require a total wireless and suitable Ethernet communication solutions. For that reason, Advantech has released the ECU-1152 RISC-based industrial communication gateway with an open platform design with Cortex A8 processor, six isolated serial ports, two Ethernet ports and especially operating temperature range of from 40 to 70°C.
