Taiwan is not the origin of Information Technology, but where many of international breakthrough technologies come from. Silicon chips brought Taiwan to a whole new level of prosperity, and now, every business and industry is developing on the basis of the next information technology revolution - an intelligent, digitalized and connected world and the Internet of Things (IoT). With the desire to spread this vision across Vietnam, Mr. Keven Cheng, the Director of Taiwan Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City remarks: “Just like what is happening in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, including Vietnam is encountering water industry crisis, which is considered the severest in the whole world due to influence of industrialization, modernization, population growth and environmental pollution. In that context, there is a growing demand for product that is integrated with water supply and drainage system, water filtration and wastewater treatment technologies, etc. Understand this, Taiwan Excellence strives to bring breakthrough technologies that have been successfully utilized in Taiwan to Vietnamese consumers and businesses through events such as VIETWATER 2018.”
