With the development of information technology, the customer needs of mobility services, and the rise of the concept of smart transportation, the company,Ho Ing Mobility Services (HiMS), was founded in January 2019. In line with the future development blueprint of Hotai Motor for MaaS, HiMS dedicates to developing the mobile services in four major businesses: Daily car rental, car and scooter sharing (iRent), Limousine service, and Parking lot operation. iRent Car-Sharing Platform originated from Hotai Group’s digital transformation in 2014 and evolved into Ho-Yun Mobility Service in 2019. Over 11 years, it has delivered 20 million trips across Taiwan and its offshore islands, covering over 400 million kilometers. In 2022, it received the Taiwan Excellence Award. In 2023, iRent launched a next-generation platform equipped with 20 proprietary telematics devices, enabling fully unmanned vehicle-sharing services. In 2024, it introduced the HIMS platform to support B2B digital transformation for rental operators, making iRent Taiwan’s first platform offering both B2C and B2B services. The platform helps operators achieve 24/7 vehicle availability and maximize asset efficiency.
