ASM2464PDX is the world's first USB-IF certified USB4 device controller chip. USB-IF certification ensures product quality, interoperability, and safety, allowing the use of the USB certification logo, increasing consumer confidence, and facilitating product entry into markets, especially the EU. The ASM2464PDX is also the world's first USB4 device controller chip to support PCIe Gen4 x4.
This unique capability allows the ASM2464PDX to function as an external AI card, enabling high-speed connectivity with external GPUs. This externalization makes high-end AI computing resources more flexible and accessible. Additionally, the ASM2464PDX can be used in end products such as multi-functional SSD enclosures, hard drive duplicators, and high-speed network cards. Several customers are already using and mass-producing products featuring this chip.
