Ban Hon International Co. Ltd. (BHI) was established in 1947 as Ban Hon Trading Company. At the time its primary mission was to provide Taiwan industry with petrochemical products imported from Japan as the domestic petrochemical landscape was just beginning to take shape. Over the years BHI has expanded from its roots in trading, into one of Taiwan’s largest lubricant manufacture; providing its services to key customers in Taiwan, NE Asia, China and SE Asia. BHI’s manufacturing operation is located in Changhua County and has a designed production capacity of 120,000 metric tons per year. Its slate of lubricant products includes a comprehensive array of automotive, industrial, and marine applications. In addition to its updated ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System, BHI is currently leading the way in its first-in-industry implementation of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System with full certification successfully achieved in 2018. BHI continues forward, firmly bound by its core values, supplying products that are – locally produced, quality first, and closely relevant to the ever-faster changing pace of the lubricant industry.
