Charder's story is one of perseverance and transformation. Starting as an OEM/ODM manufacturer, a breakthrough was vital in the face of low-cost competition, and opportunity arose with new EU regulations demanding medical device compliance for medical scales. Launching "Charder Medical" in 2005 brought challenges. Clients recognized quality but hesitated to distribute an unknown Taiwanese brand, often requesting private labels. Driven to build an independent brand, we made the difficult decision to decline such offers. For the first 5 years, investment far exceeded revenue - but Charder was undeterred. To earn trust in the demanding medical market, we focused on fostering long-term partnerships, many lasting over a decade. Leveraging our strong R&D team, we adopted a flexible approach, tailoring user-centric products for different markets. This constant innovation is what has transformed Charder from an obscure factory into an international brand with a strong global presence!
