With the needs of the industrial market and waste reduction in mind, Apacer developed this exclusive patented product. Following a circular design strategy, Apacer equips the back end of the M.2 2242 SSD with a specially designed rugged connector that connects to the PCB board. This recyclable design model allows different value-adding modules to be connected to the primary SSD, and has been named the Transformed SSD. Since it can change functions and increase added value, it reduces the time and cost of customer modification and re-validation of products, and also reduces re-purchasing, repetitive design, and consumption of materials.
This product currently offers three value-adding technologies: power failure protection, data destruction technology, and snapshot backup and recovery. And it has successfully passed the U.S. Department of Defense military defense standard MIL-STD-202G Method 213B shock and MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6 vibration tests.
