The traditional display monitor assembly process requires manual application of light-blocking tape to prevent side light leakage, resulting in labor-intensive work, limited efficiency, high energy consumption, and cost. This also restricts the visible area, necessitating thick bezels. In collaboration with panel clients, Everlight Chemical developed the IBR/IPR series UV adhesive. This innovative adhesive features high light-blocking capability, chemical resistance, strong adhesion to glass, and reworkability, addressing the aforementioned issues. It is the industry's first of its kind, significantly advancing the panel industry by enabling fully automated assembly processes and lights-out manufacturing, reducing labor cost, saving energy, and paving the way for bezel-less displays, expanding the possibilities for panel applications.
