UTS VX Advanced is a software-defined security isolation solution that addresses the cost and deployment limitations of traditional hardware-based data diodes. By utilizing existing servers or virtualized environments with a unidirectional transmission module, organizations can deploy Air Gap–level protection while reducing infrastructure costs and complexity. The solution integrates Taiwan-patented UTS-Echo technology (Patent No. 670934), using automated feedback and retransmission mechanisms to eliminate packet loss and ensure reliable file transfer. Its proprietary Flanking Server architecture enables secure half-duplex communication while maintaining physical unidirectional isolation. This supports request-response applications such as VDI, WSUS, and EDR/XDR, overcoming a key limitation of conventional data diodes. UTS VX Advanced supports major IT and OT protocols, including SMB, SFTP, Syslog, SNMP Trap, MODBUS TCP and OPC UA, enabling seamless integration with existing system.
