The dependently linked, linear motion pedals enable the user to self adjust the stroke length to accommodate their range-of-motion performance capabilities. This enables a patient to exercise in a closed-kinetic-chain, functional motion with a low start-up resistance. The isokinetic resistance allows a safe and impact free workout. The 8 position swivel seat offer easy patient transfers from wheel. 6 Position seat back allowing for accommodation of hip angle settings. All patient set-up parameters are scale indexed for consistent patient set-up from visit-to-visit as well as easy documentation of a patient’s progress. Symmetry program measures and displays bi-lateral power at the pedal assisting in setting rehabilitation goals. Bio-feedback display motivates patients to maintain even power symmetry between left and right. This unique program assists patients in improving their steps by strengthening limb deficits. Patients can use the upper and lower body functions independently; upper body symmetry can be measured this way. A higher heart rate during exercise can be achieved with a much lower perceived level of exertion by the user.
