There are more and more demands from old houses for the installation of elevators, but normally the difficulties is the certain height of pit required can not meet, the reason is due to structures of the beam, foundation and septic tanks. E-Feng and Japan has technical cooperation launched "Pitless elevator ", which has the smallest space requirements on pit, to meet the needs of senior elders using home lift.
In the space requirements, it needs only 125 cm × 140 cm to install; the size of the cabin is 90 cm × 105 cm, it’s convenient for the general wheelchair to access into the elevator; and only 12 to 15 cm height for the location of the pad to make the home lift without any pit requirement.
