本製品は外輪・外径面をPPS樹脂で絶縁被覆することで、防電食、高い信頼性、一般軸受と変わらないサイズ、高いコストパフォーマンスを誇ります。主にPWM制御モータへの応用に適しています。一般的な軸受は、回転時に潤滑油が油膜を形成し、内/外環と転動体の間に膜を作ります。そして何らかの特殊な状況下で内輪と外輪に電位差が生じ、それが蓄積して臨界値を超えると、内輪と外輪の間を瞬間的に電流が通過して軸受内にスパークが発生し、軌道表面又は転動体表面が熔融してしまいます。これらの問題を解決するのが絶縁軸受です。
モータ用の絶縁軸受は、海外のSKF、NTN、FAG、NSK等の軸受大手から輸入されることが多く、台湾メーカーは生産を行っていませんでした。そのため本製品の発売は、台湾のPWM制御モータ関連産業の発展に貢献できます。セラミック軸受より低価格な上、絶縁性能は同水準に達するため、マーケットで強い競争力を持ちます。
