従来の大型電力用変圧器強制循環式冷卻システムは、油温の上昇を基に各セクションの必要ファン数を切換えて冷却するものが中心です。しかし必要風量に応じた精確な制御は行えないため、過冷却やエネルギー損失が容易に発生します。本製品は交流式無段変速回転数制御によってファンの回転数を変えるため、省エネ効果を発揮します。開発時に世界各地域での使用を考慮し、使用温度の上限は熱帯地域でも使用できる65度に設定したほか、コントロールボックス内の加熱装置で動作温度を維持すれば、寒冷地でも使用できます。また、屋外設置例が多い点を鑑み、顧客の環境に合わせて選択できる屋内・屋外用のソリューションを提供しているため、どんな国・地域でも使用できます。本製品は米国と台湾の特許、実用新案を取得しています。
