Intelligent dampers are used in the construction of bridges and houses for shock absorption. Because the dampers are installed inside the house structure and bridge facilities, it is quite difficult and inconvenient to check that they are functioning normally. With its structural design, this newly developed damper can automatically perform the function of filling in the equipment and remotely monitoring when the silicon oil leaks slightly in the equipment to observe damper leakage and supply feedback to detect earthquakes and vibration. This reliable information is then transmitted to the house structural technician. Relevant information is used to determine whether the dampers need to be maintained and whether the vibrations sustained by the dampers are within a reasonable range, and to conduct a preliminary study on the structural safety of the house.
