Solvision draws on state-of-the-art deep learning technologies to solve common machine vision problems, such as detection of features, defects, and patterns. Programming code is unnecessary.
This intuitive, human-like approach requires only the input of image samples for the machine to learn to recognize irregular patterns or features by itself, which remains a challenging task for traditional inspection systems.
Solvision comes in two modes of learning: supervised and unsupervised. When in supervised mode, each defect type needs to be identified and trained. While in unsupervised mode, Solvison needs to be shown only the golden sample, and it will be able to identify the differences in inspected objects.
1. Five powerful functions in one software package.
2. Engineering knowledge not required to handle the software.
3. Powerful toolsets simplify processes and improve results.
4. Easy integration with robots and PLCs.
5. Ability to learn from just defect-free samples.
About SOLOMON Technology Corporation
Solomon was established in 1973. The company became publicly listed in 1996 on Taiwan Stock Exchange. The company's main businesses today are in power generation, automation, and LCD Display. Headquartered in Taipei, Solomon has one branch office in America, 7 in China, and two in Southeast Asia. Solomon also owns SGD and Data International, both are makers of LCD and LCD modules. The company including subsidiaries has 1,000 employees.
While Solomon began as a distributor of power generators, electronics components, and welding machinery, it has an increasing focus on automation business. Since 2014 a significant amount of corporate resources are dedicated to research and development of leading-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, 3D machine vision, Internet of Things, and robotic applications. The management team's goal is to establish Solomon within the next three years as a technology leader in these emerging fields not only in Taiwan but also globally.
The push for automation has brought more robots into factories globally. Despite their growing presence, robots today are only capable of routine and simple tasks. For all its durability and precision, the robot alone lacks the sensing capability and intelligence of humans to perform complicated jobs. Solomon prides itself as an enabler of intelligent robots. Just as King Solomon in ancient Israel offered his vision and wisdom, today we are providing state-of-art 3D vision and artificial intelligence to robots. An advanced 3D vision system allows robots to ‘see’ the world as humans do and automatically perform tasks requiring variations. Our AI software enables robots to not only ‘see’ but also ‘learn’ on its own to detect things like humans do. “Vision with Intelligence” is Solomon’s core proposition. Enabling intelligent robots will be indispensable to increase factory productivity and frees up human resources to perform even more value-added jobs.
