MEAN WELL releases the harsh, environment-proof intelligent power supply HEP-1000 that incorporates fanless design, fully sealed metal enclosure, silicone gel potted interior and IP67 ingress protection ratings, effectively combating failures caused by harsh environments. In addition, a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +70°C allows the HEP-1000 to operate stably under all types of extreme environments worldwide.
HEP-1000 integrates the power supply and charger functions into a single unit. Customers can switch between power supply and charger modes via computer software or communication protocols. The 2-in-1 design can help reduce resource consumption caused by having too many different SKUs.
The HEP-1000 has built-in PMBus or CANBus available for customer to choose from. The communication protocols also allow the power supply to be seamlessly integrated into high-end systems that requires digital power management and data exchanges.
