SunCurva Flexible Lightweight Module uses special high-weather-resistant composite materials to replace traditional glass-made modules, significantly reducing 70% of weight, approximately 3kg/m2 compared to conventional modules.
It is designed for VAPV applications, installed on vehicles to provide backup battery charging and lighting; reducing the power consumption and carbon emissions. Its design greatly increases applications with excellence in curve ability, collision resistance and flame retardant characteristics as to traditional modules, and fulfills the EMC Test that it is widely applied in transportation vehicles. The advantage of lightweight modules is that installation of metal rails are not required as the traditional modules. This design reduces the weight loading on the designated facilities’ roof, wall and vehicle. It is easier to handle, install, and not limited by the installation method and location that the usual traditional modules may face.
