AUO's smart cockpit for 2025 focuses on user experience, realizing automotive display system technologies and human-machine interface applications. Utilizing a cockpit area controller architecture, it integrates transparent instrument panels, a retractable dynamic central console, large spliced car windows, and sunroofs to achieve situational, technological, and multi-screen application solutions. To address the pain points of automotive manufacturers, AUO employs Micro LED displays for installation within the cockpit, creating an all-encompassing smart mobility solution. This includes an integrated central console and a seamless transparent screen that spans from pillar to pillar for a panoramic view, providing clear visibility ahead. The design also features a foldable steering wheel, allowing drivers to smoothly switch between manual and automated driving modes, facilitating multifunctional variations on a dedicated driving screen.
