360-degree pivot provides high flexibility to end-users. The system is driven by roller rails on the bottom of the swivel, which allows the island cabinet top to revolve freely for 360 degrees. We use an intermittent retention mechanism to hold the cabinet top at a 90-degree position. Moreover, the cabinet top is easy and smooth to move with one hand, and the retention mechanism keeps the cabinet top from creeping.
360-degree pivot is developed to carry a static loading of 62 kg, and it can take 25 kg on the edge in a fully extended position. This product has been put through 5000 rotation cycles and remains smooth and silent, and the majority of the structure is still in good condition for satisfactory serviceability.
