TPI first introduced all ceramic ball bearings for bike wheel hubs several years ago. They were assembled in a hub and wheel for track bikes. They were tested by Olympic athletes and provided a vital 0.3 second reduction thanks to their low friction and high rigidity in terms of strength-to-weight ratio.
Our all ceramic ball bearings are made of ASTM F2094 Standard ceramic and manufactured by automated machines exceeding industry standards. They provide excellent friction property for hubs where 90% bearing friction loss is consumed.
