To meet the need of Taiwan's offshore wind farms, Marine Installation Vessel was designed and built by CSBC. It is the second largest wind power engineering ship in the world, and the largest wind power engineering ship in Asia. It is equipped with a large crane that can rotate 360 degrees with a lifting weight of 4,000 tons. It can install underwater foundations, offshore substations and turbine components . The crane is equipped with a boom up lift preventer. If the load of the boom suddenly falls off, it can effectively absorb the reaction force of the boom's backward tilt. There is an additional second crane console in the driving station, which can effectively control crane operations from the driving station. With the anti-heeling system, the ballast water weight in the cabin can be adjusted in time during hoisting operations to maintain the heeling angle of the hull.The price of Green Jade is about NTD 7.5 billion.It is the most expensive commercial ship ever built in CSBC.
