The ROG XREAL R1 is an AR glasses display, offering the world’s first support for up to a 240Hz refresh rate. Its 3DoF functionality allows the display to smoothly follow head movements, significantly reducing discomfort and motion-induced dizziness caused by latency inconsistencies in wearable screens. Built with Sony microOLED projection technology, users can freely adjust screen distance, size, and aspect ratio, or choose between a fixed spatial display and a movement-following mode. This flexibility supports diverse use cases, including gaming, video streaming, and social browsing. For connectivity, the ROG R1 features a simple USB-C interface that delivers both power and video through a single cable. Compatible with laptops, smartphones, and handheld consoles, it creates a massive 171-inch viewing experience at a perceived distance of 4 meters. Weighing under 100 grams, it enables immersive, large-screen entertainment anywhere—whether on a plane, in bed, or during commuting.
