Zephyrus is the latest GX series model. The thickness is only 14.9mm, but with NVIDIA GTX1070 GPU, and the 8th gen Intel quad core i7 processer. The reason we can maintain powerful cooling while equip such high-end hardware spec is the Active Aerodynamic system.
This system is combined by different special design. The first one is the special dual hinge. There are two dual hinge inside Zephyrus. When you open the lid, the hinge will push up the C/D parts, and push down the E part, and then, it will cause a 4mm gap between the C part and bottom. And beside the hinge, we also put a lot of effort on our thermal design. We will five thermal pipe above the CPU/ GPU and the power. We also use a special material to make the fan blade, which is “Liquid crystal polymers”. With this material, we can put in 83pcs fan blade into our fan. Normally, The industry generally uses 51 blades. This material has stronger strength, and that’s the reason why we can put more fan blade in the same fan size.
