The high import cost, long delivery time and no timely after services affects competitiveness of Taiwan machine makers. HIWIN is the only supplier in Taiwan which can mass produce torque motor. RAS-170 is made of HIWIN self-developed key components.

HIWIN RAS-170 is equipped with torque motor to transmit power and increase transmission efficiency. It does not need periodic calibration.
3.High precision exceeds industry expectations:
With the optimized design and encoder feedback control to achieve excellent performance at industrial highest level, positioning accuracy is ±2.5 arc-seconds and repeatability is ±1 arc-seconds.
4.Green and lightweight composite material:
HIWIN RAS-170 is designed with composite carbon fiber which is 30 kg lighter than the equivalent steel casting material table.
