With the rise of online video platforms, there are now more content creators. As a result, there is demand for high capacity, high-performance storage devices to store content. In light of this, ADATA developed the ELITE SE920 external solid state drive (SSD). It supports the latest USB4 interface to offer read/write speeds of up to 4000/4000 MB/s. This allows for speedy data transfers and editing of high-resolution content directly via the SSD. The upper and lower covers feature two different surface treatments, namely a sandblasted and hairline-brushed finish, to create visual contrast. The RGB light bar embedded within the middle portion of the device provides for an understated flair. The SE920 comes with capacities ranging from 1-2TB. To prevent overheating, the SE920 features a patented retractable casing. This permits the SSD’s casing to slide open to enlarge its exhaust vent while at the same time activating a fan to increase airflow for better heat dissipation.
