Delta's PCS1500/2000/3000 series MW-Level Power Conditioning System (PCS) is a key piece of "energy control" equipment in the energy storage system (ESS). It controls battery charging/discharging and performs AC-DC conversion. Delta launched the MW PCS to provide customers with options for various integrated battery systems suitable for ESSs in power plants, renewable energy, industrial and commercial plants, and EV charging stations.
Considering that the ESS has been designed to be used in in harsh environment for many years, Delta's MW PCS adopts a liquid cooling system to improve the operational efficiency and equipment lifetime while also reducing the size of the MW PCS. The liquid-cooled design can also prevent the air flow from accumulating dirt and dust on internal components, and it helps prevent surface water vapor from invading the circuit control board, making it safe for use in coastal areas and industrial areas while also reducing the maintenance burden.
