To develop its own core technology is the goal of Aurotek R&D team. The PKGS-A100 wafer sorter AOI equipment that Aurotek announced this year is the successfully developed result which Aurotek accumulated years of research & develop experience. PKGS-A100 is designed mainly for the semiconductor packaging and testing plant before the wafer thinning process. With the operation of this equipment, a given wafer can be automatically moved to a specified Cassette. In the meantime, front and side of wafer will be processed defect detection and particle pollution detection. To reduce the impact of static and instability of manual handling and to improve defect detection yield, Aurotek pioneered PKGS-A100 for the first in the industry.
This unique customized products can help customers automatically conveying the wafer to avoid collision damage caused by manual handling possible, while avoiding the high-end electronic products have been static electricity. The detection of defects and particle pollution helps to remind production line staff to make the corresponding disposal before thin grinding process. Otherwise, the thinning process will caused wafer entire broken, and this is entire wafer fabrication BEOL, while the value of the product is extremely high. Domestic customers have started to buy this equipment, and we continue to negotiate with foreign clients.
