YuanFang Applied Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as YFLife), is a Taiwan technology company that designs and manufactures air purifiers with it’s own CUPO technology. It and its brand "YFLife" was founded by Wayne Chien in 2018. Now it has grown to be a famous brand of PCO air purifier in Taiwan. At the same time, YFLife is currently promoting its CUPO air purification technology to any place in the world where it is needed.

The founder of Yuanfang Life, Wen-Cheng Chien, is an engineer imbued with the simple and persevering spirit characteristic of Taiwanese people. He has a keen interest in new things since childhood, with a persistent approach to challenges and problem solving, and a passion for innovation and invention. In 2009, these traits led Wen-Cheng to part ways with the semiconductor industry that he was familiar with and embark on an arduous entrepreneurial journey.

At a trade show in Japan in 2015, he accidentally noticed that photocatalytic materials combined with his company's UV LED light source could effectively solve many troublesome air pollution problems and do so in a very green way. This discovery made Wen-Cheng realize that this could be a revolution in air purifiers. Upon returning to Taiwan, he brainstormed with the R&D team and meticulously tried various photocatalyst materials. After three years and more than 500 failures, he finally succeeded in creating the world's smallest, patented parallel airflow, non-consumable photocatalytic air purifier. Wen-Cheng had the technology needed to change the world, and in 2018 the Yuanfang Life brand "YFLife" was born.

Yuanfang's patent: Active air purification technology CUPO™, is a highly innovative technology, an unprecedented new concept, which transforms the technology of air purification from the original passive treatment to an active method, improving its photolytic ability by several orders of magnitude. At present, the Yuanfang R&D team continuously researches and develops new technologies, looking forward to bringing people a more convenient and refreshing life through increasingly innovative technologies.

Today, Yuanfang Life's photocatalytic air purifier has been sold in Taiwan, Japan, the United States and other regions, and is expanding rapidly. It is expected to continue to expand to major markets around the world in the future.
