ECU-479 is Advantech's latest power automation computer for smart substations, offering high performance, scalability, and advanced management capabilities. It simplifies the integration of power grid subsystems, reduces TCO, and enhances safety and convenience, complies to smart grid standard IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613. Supporting the latest 13th gen Intel® Core™ processors, ECU-479 is designed for harsh environments with high vibration, dust, and unstable power. Its superior thermal design allows stable operation at 70°C. With 100V-240V DC/AC hot-swappable PSUs, ECU-479 is easy to maintain. It can be expanded with PCIe and Advantech ECU-P series cards for additional I/Os. Compatible with RTOS and real-time hypervisors like VMware ESXi, ECU-479 meets high real-time demands, enhancing safety, reliability, and manageability. Featureing built-in HW monitor via Advantech SUSI API and Intel®AMT or SNMP remote management, making it essential for substation, SCADA and renewable energy control.
