DMS-SA21, the industrial server is the answering of Advantech to the request of high performance server with superior graphic power. It aims 2 specific markets: data centers and medical laboratory/ image analysis centers, which have been long under pressure of the increase of complex data.
DMS-SA21 is a whole system that has gone through comprehensive compatibility tests; that guarantee its function in mission-critical tasks and avoid the failures that self- assembled/ chosen combination of motherboard, system plus power supply might cause.
DMS-SA21 features high performance with two latest Intel server-level Xeon E5-2600 v3/v4 processors, supports max 512GB memory. Its highly efficient power solution and thermal design eliminate the concerns of malfunction due to heat generated.
To maximize its flexibility, a feature highly valued by industrial server users, DMS-SA21 is designed with 4 PCIe x16 slots, supporting up to 4 double-width high-end graphic cards, and additional 2 PCIe x8 slots. Moreover, it has 8 3.5”/2.5” RAID hard drive slots to enable huge capacity for data storage and decrease the risk of data lose and damage.
DMS-SA21 is designed for “easy-to -maintain”. The design team started from the user’s perspective to come up with ideas including 1) front-side accessible hard drives: hard drives are located in the front side of the system and thus service stuff can easily retrieve and exchanges hard drives 2) hot swappable fans: system fans can be exchanged easily by sliding in and out after simply opening the top lid with no risk of interrupting system operation.
