The AIR-055 compact multimodal Vision AI edge inference system is powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ IQ9 platform, delivering 100 TOPS of AI performance for lightweight LLMs and vision AI applications at the edge. Designed for smart manufacturing, smart transportation, robotics, and other real-time AI applications, it enables seamless integration of visual, sensor, control, and wireless data on site. With 20+ I/O interfaces and expansion slots, AIR-055 offers flexible connectivity for cameras, sensors, controllers, and wireless modules. Its MIPI-mDP design supports 8MP/4K resolution and up to 2-meter transmission distance, overcoming traditional MIPI distance limitations while reducing USB3 protocol conversion latency for low-latency image capture and flexible deployment. By integrating Advantech WEDA, Edge AI SDK, BSP launcher, and Qualcomm AI Hub resources, AIR-055 lowers application development barriers, shortens the path from proof of concept to mass deployment.
